Master of Education

A Master of Education will prepare you for the initial licensure to teach in Massachusetts public school for Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Middle School, High School, Moderate Disabilities or Special Needs.

Students will complete field experiences in public school classrooms and will finish the program with a 12-13 week practicum (full-time student teaching) experience.

In order to complete the requirements for student teaching and graduation, students must pass the necessary MTEL (Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure) exams and submit a cumulative teaching portfolio at the end of the program.
